Lower Car Insurance

I have hunted around for a while and the cheapest car there seams to be is a 1.2 Corsa Merit 5 door. The car isn't bad but the insurance is still £1500.

Is there any other way to get it down? I have tried everything mentioned and £1.5k is still the cheapest.

Thing is I cant afford to pay that yearly around college.

Ian,

Car insurance quotes depend on a number of factors which are specific to an individual. I take it that you are a young driver hence the lowest premiums you've got is £1500. Have you done the pass plus course? If yes then you can get upto 35% off your quote.

The truth is you will have to pay a lot more than other older drivers in your first year and there's no escape to this. You will have to take it with a pinch of salt and the second year, you will see a significant decrease in your premiums.
