Reducing 3 Year Driving Ban

Hi - I have a 3 year driving ban for DD, and have another 21 months remaining. This ban is for a second DD offense, the first one happening in 2005 when I received a 1 yr ban and completed the DD course. What are the chances of getting my license back after 2 years? And what are the costs involved in this? I have recently started a new job as a Building Management Systems Engineer and I am limited as to what I can do without a car. Thanks

Jamie,

Your best bet is to contact a solicitor for drink driving. You shouldn't have to pay anything for enquiring and once the solicitor understands your particular situation, he should be able to tell you the fees he will be charging for this.

For simple cases where you have committed 1 drink driving offence and have been banned for 3 years, you would be able to get your licence back after 2 years if you have had a clean driving history since the offence. However in your case, you have 2 offences for DD and that's where things get complicated and only a drink driving specialist would be able to advise you properly on the choices that you have.
