Pay As You Go Insurance For 17 Year Old Female

Hiya,

I'm 17, I passed my test 4 months ago and I'm buying a P Reg Vauxhal Tigra - the insurance is really high and I've heard of having a pay as you go insurance thing in your car or something that cuts the insurance if you stop using your car for a certain time.

Please help... thanks

Emma,

You've probably heard of the pay as you drive insurance scheme which was launched by Norwich Union where you pay per mile you've driven. Unfortunately, this type of insurance is no longer available now. The alternative is to get pay per month insurance. So instead of paying insurance for a year, you pay for a month at a time which means that you can cancel the insurance if you no longer require it after a month's period. Please check eCar Pay As You Go Insurance for a quick quote and more information and see if this one fits into your requirements.
